How to File a Claim
We understand that unforeseen events can occur, and we’re here to assist you every step of the way when you need to file a claim. Follow these simple steps to initiate the claims process:
- Tenant notifies facility manager or owner of the claim.
- Tenant takes photos of any damage to their items and the storage unit. Please take photos of the source of damage if possible and do not throw anything away until the facility manager or owner has been notified.
- In the event of a theft loss, the tenant needs to notify the local police department and file a report.
- Click “File a Claim” below to complete Claims Information Form and upload documents.
- Once the tenant completes the Claims Information Form and uploads documents, the 6Storage Tenant Protection Team will review and begin the claims process.
